In the second quarter of this year, Acer has sold 6.65 million notebooks. In this way, compared to the first quarter, the company saw growth in that market share by 1.5 percentage points (to a level of 18.5%).
The Hewlett-Packard once again stood on the highest podium. 22% of all notebooks sold in the world can boast of a U.S. manufacturer's logo. Compared to the previous quarter, the company recorded a slight decline in market share (by 0.7 percentage points).
According to information provided by IDC, in that period now sold 34.1 million PCs, an increase of 5.6% more than in the previous study.
